This is one of several paintings I have painted in the oceanscape theme.

This one also fits in a theme I have called "After the Deluge" which obviously refers to a flood where cities, islands or coasts are flooded because of a rising sea level or, perhaps, a "deluge".

One of my paintings in this theme that attracted quite a bit of attention was titled "Welcome to the Maldives" and foresees a time possibly in the not-so-distant future, when the Maldive Islands could be entirely submerged under the rising seas.

The painting was painted with palette knife.
